I love sex toys. I really do. I got one as a present for my 21st birthday and although it was meant as more of a joke at the time, I did sincerely thank my friends for giving it to me.
But here is the thing – most men hate toys! I guess most of them feel threaten or redundant in some way or another, but guys let me tell you that is not the case at all.
A vibrator is not meant to replace you in any way, it is just something to have fun and play it. After all it is called a toy not a tool.
My husband asked me once “What do you want for you birthday?”. I said “I don’t know, may be a ‘rabbit’”? He said “Don’t be silly, the dog will eat it” I nearly wet myself laughing.
I tried to introduce “Mr. Naughty” (as I call my vibrator) into our sex life even before we were married but the response I got was “If that thing gets in our bed, I’m sleeping on the couch”.
I think that a man’s attitude towards sex toys says a lot about his abilities in bed. If he is a confident lover who has believe in his own ability to satisfy a woman, he will have no reason to feel threaten at all.
In fact, I have had the pleasure of meeting a few men (not as many as I would like) who were more than happy to share the bed with “Mr Naughty” and would embrace any other fantasy role play or dressing up.
At the end of the day, it is all about having fun, right boys?
